In fact, a recent MIT study found that a “toxic” corporate culture had a negative impact on businesses. On the converse, a healthy company culture can drastically boost performance. Nine out of every 10 CIOs and CEOs surveyed as part of the research “believe that improving corporate culture would increase their company’s value”, the study found. Similarly, around 80% of respondents ranked company culture among the top five most important factors driving company valuation.
