OneView features you need for business success in 2018

By Nebula | Business Strategy, Digitalisation, Featured, Newsroom, Telecom Trends, Telecoms Expense Management Software, Telecoms Strategy, TEM, Uncategorised | 0 comment | 9 March, 2018 | 1

At Nebula, we are always looking for new and creative ways to take our offerings to the next level. In doing so, we hope to help our customers thrive and stay ahead of their competition. Forward thinking and innovation is key and that is why we regularly add additional features and functionality to OneView, our premier enterprise telecoms expense and lifecycle management system.

So, what is new to OneView?

#1 Total Telephony Summary Report: Smart reporting provides businesses with greater insights, which in turn promotes efficiency, reduces costs and thus results in an improved bottom line. With a comprehensive overview of all TMS data, you’ll have a holistic view of what’s happening across your telecoms ecosystem. This new OneView report highlights top ten costs for the month, categorises calls, offers high-level trend analysis and provides a cost centre comparison.

#2 Updated UI and System Auditing: With OneView’s new user interface, mobile administrators will have a better experience. The upgrade allows them to update a single employee, instead of performing a bulk upload and export data, making mobile management easier. From an auditing perspective, OneView allows different business functions to share and maintain the same data. This ensures data integrity, enhances cross-functional collaboration and improves compliance.

#3 Mobile Package Optimisation: We’ve written extensively about the growing popularity of mobile technology and the role of the mobile workforce in the modern workplace. OneView aims to assist organisations in making sure they can offer employees customised mobile offerings at the most cost effective rates. New OneView functionality allows the mobile administrator to choose packages based on users’ historical spend and usage and compare which package would be best suited to the employee’s usage behaviour. These package comparisons are always up to date with consumer market offerings, as well as exclusive corporate offerings.

#4 Service Request 2.0: OneView’s seamless integration with service request systems has already streamlined our customers’ processes. With this update, we’re offering advanced data visualisation that allows users to access all requests and statuses through a single dashboard. This dashboard is interactive and has filter functionality so that tracking requests can easily be drilled down to specific branches or regions.

#5 Burst Usage Notifications/Alerts: Remember our advice about how to avoid bill shock? In addition to the current usage notifications provided by OneView, burst alerts provide users with early warnings about sudden spikes in usage. Imagine that an employee comes back from leave and switches on their laptop while using 3G data. Their laptop might start running large automatic updates, which causes a sudden surge of high data usage. Even though the user has not reached 100% of their data cap, at the rate they are using data there is a high risk that they might exceed their bundle very quickly. Being aware of these spikes means you can prevent overspending before it happens.
