This is the business end of the Nebula engagement, by which we help our clients determine the best options for their telecoms infrastructure. Our Strategic Decision-Making Framework offers a structured approach to formulating a telecoms strategy, a roadmap to realise that strategy and an architectural blueprint required to deliver services within that framework.
Telecoms strategy
Your Telecoms Strategy is a response to your business dynamics (internal as well as external factors from your regulatory, economic, natural, social and even political landscape). Your organisation continually embarks on new strategic business initiatives to answer imperatives arising from these factors, placing stress on your infrastructure. As a result, your telecoms strategy may from time to time incorporate new elements. Analysing these business themes, we will devise and prioritise strategic programme areas to address the needs arising from them.
Telecoms roadmap
Your Telecoms Roadmap elaborates on strategic programmes by outlining the initiatives or projects required to implement them, detailing the work breakdown structures of each initiative or project and determining dependencies. As part of developing a roadmap, the aforementioned Telecoms Baseline Profile is required to come to a gap analysis between the status quo and the desired end-state, and a requirements assessment to bridge the gap.
Telecoms architectural blueprint
The Telecommunications Architecture Blueprint builds on the roadmap and may involve several Telecommunications Business Enablement type projects as part of the blueprint development. The Telecommunications Architecture Blueprint lays out the telecommunications architecture required to meet the requirements uncovered by the strategy.
