Portfolio Manager

Nebula seeks a candidate to take on the challenging role of Portfolio Manager for the Western Cape. The ideal candidate would have the following required experience, competencies and skills:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

Experience:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Account Management
  • Business Development
  • Telecommunications Industry
  • Professional Services Firm
  • Proven track record with relevant enterprise experience

Critical Competencies:

  • Ability to analyse client requirements and propose necessary effective solutions/advice to the client to address the requirement
  • Effectively assist in managing the client relationships on all levels
  • Ability to inform Executive Portfolio Manager of potential risks in the clients relationship
  • Ability to project professional image and above average interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically, commercially and be able to develop new and existing account and portfolio strategies
  • Ability to influence and build relationships
  • Ability to assist in planning and forecasting the portfolio and client engagement revenue and profitability

Essential skills, behaviour and knowledge required: 

  • Support the Executive Portfolio Manager
  • Support the management and development of pre-sales and proposal engagements
  • Ability to evaluate the portfolio of clients by identifying trends, developing of new opportunities, synergies in various accounts
  • Assist in the growth of the portfolio of clients revenue/profit for the company
  • Assist in building and enhancing client relationships - customer centric
  • Ability to integrate new services, products to generate more revenue for Nebula
  • Ability to integrate new services, products to generate more revenue for the client
  • Understand and manage client needs, relationship, requirements on all levels
  • Ability to generate sales in new and existing accounts
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Proven people management skills
  • Understanding of the consulting practice
  • Planning and development of short and long term Account Strategies for new and existing portfolio of clients
  • Understanding of Telecommunications and related Services and Products
